Yaryna Drobatyuk - Co-Founder
The Independent Studio was born from a deep understanding of the competitive dancer's journey. Yaryna spent 17 years on the competitive Ballroom and Latin circuit, experiencing firsthand the training, pressure, and unique challenges that dancers face on their journey to the top.
This intimate knowledge of the industry led her to identify a crucial gap in the market. She became a pioneer in the field, establishing the first professional company in Poland dedicated to providing world-class hair and makeup services specifically for dance competitions. She formalised the professional approach for the entire industry in the country, setting a new standard for quality and professionalism.
After becoming a leader in the Polish market, Yaryna's reputation for excellence took her across Europe and the world. She became one of the most sought-after stylists on the international circuit, working at major competitions, including the prestigious Fred Astaire event portfolio. This experience gave her unparalleled insight into the standards required to succeed at the highest level.
Yaryna's commitment to the dance world extends beyond styling. As the founder of Fenix Dancewear, she has also immersed herself in the art of creating bespoke apparel for dancers, understanding that every element of a competitor's presentation contributes to their confidence and performance.
It is this unique combination of experience - as a dancer, an industry pioneer, and a world-class stylist - that forms the foundation of The Independent Studio. Yaryna personally vets every artist who joins our collective, ensuring they possess not only exceptional technical skill but also the speed, professionalism, and understanding required to perform under the immense pressure of a competition. Przemek Czaicki - Co-Founder
While Yaryna sets the world-class standard for artistry, Przemek brings the operational and brand vision that makes The Independent Studio a seamless experience. For nearly 15 years, he has produced, edited, and photographed for Europe's leading creative agencies, including McCann, Wavemaker, HAVAS, Landor, JKR (Jones Knowles Ritchie), Blue State, and many others.
A producer's mindset has always been central to his work. On high-stakes projects for global brands like Samsung, BMW, Porsche, Bentley, and the United Nations, his role was to ensure everything ran with flawless precision. It's a sixth sense for anticipating challenges and solving them before they arise. His core philosophy is simple: a perfectly executed event is one where every detail has been considered, so the day runs smoothly for both artists and dancers.
Przemek also brings a deep understanding of how to build a premium brand. He knows that world-class service isn't just about the final result, but about every single touchpoint along the journey.
